Celebrate the Christmas with us

Christmas is an annual holiday that celebrates the birth if Jesus. The date of the celebration is traditional, and is not considered to be his actual date of birth. Christmas festivities often combine the commemoration of Jesus, birth with various secular customs, many of which have been influenced by earlier winter festivals.

In most places around the world, Christmas day is celebrated on Dec 25. Christmas commonwealth, boxing day is the following day Dec 26. The name of Christmas is short for “Christ Mass”. For most people who celebrate Christmas, this is a special holiday for gathering of family and friends, enjoying delicious foods and giving gift. A traditional Christmas dinner in American includes stuffed turkey, mashed potatoes and so on. One of the most important Christmas traditions is receiving gifts from Santa Claus. Today, Santa Claus brings presents to children in many countries, including the Unites States, Canada, Britain and Australia.

In Britain, Christmas day is normally spent at home, with the family, and it is regarded as a celebration of the family and its continuity. Preparations start well in advance, with the sending of Christmas cards and installation of a decorated Christmas tree in a prominent place in the home. Although it is now a firmly established tradition, the Christmas tree was first popularized by Queen Victoria’s husband Prince Albert, who introduced the custom from his native Germany in 1840. There are so many Christmas cards, hats dolls and many colorful things, So looks very beautiful. We can give a card or a doll to our friends and say “Merry Christmas”.

Presents are bought and wrapped, and traditionally placed under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. Christmas is both a secular and a religious holiday, and many families like to attend a midnight service at church on Christmas Eve, or celebrate Christmas in church on Christmas morning.
